KYOCERA Gallery Special Exhibition Summer 2025 “After Expression -The Kyoto Archive of Art by People with Disabilities-“

Since 2022, as part of its social welfare activities, KYOCERA has been collaborating with Kyoto Prefecture and art space co-jin to create tapestries featuring images of artworks selected from the ‘The Kyoto Archive of Art by People with Disabilities’, which have been displayed within the company. Building on this initiative, KYOCERA, Kyoto Prefecture and art space co-jin have now joined forces to organize this exhibition at the KYOCERA Gallery.
Entitled ‘After Expression’, this exhibition brings together works by 23 artists featured in the digital archive of the Kyoto Organization for the Promotion of Culture and the Arts for People with Disabilities, alongside previously unseen footage and other materials related to their creative processes. We hope that by bringing these artists’ works to a wider audience through this exhibition, we can help ensure that their creative expression continues into the future.
